Welcome to the Massachusetts Higher Education Consortium website.

The MHEC is New England’s premier higher education group purchasing consortium.  The MHEC can service higher education institutions and private secondary institutions throughout New England.

During these challenging economic times, all of our members are called upon to justify expenditures, both large and small.  Despite the economic crunch, our aggregate spend has increased from $200 million to $240 million in fiscal year 2010. This 20% increase in the use of MHEC contracts is a reflection of our members trust and confidence in our efforts.

We are truly honored that the support of our institutions has allowed the MHEC to expand contracts and grow in these economic times.
