Effective November 01, 2024, Valley Green Shredding has updated their pricing. Additionally, Valley Green Shredding's service for 96 gallon bins/totes/carts has ceased effective October 01, 2024.
- All Terms and Conditions etc. stipulated in the Invitation for Bid (IFB) carry forward to this Agreement unless otherwise stated here.
- Any Purchase Order issued to a Vendor by and MHEC member is an agreement between the individual member and the vendor not the MHEC Organization, or other MHEC members in part or total.
- Vendors are required to market products and services to the MHEC membership directly and continue to win the sales volume through price, quality and superior service
- Use of the contract is left to the discretion of each respective member. No guarantee of volume has been made to the vendors.
- Various types of purchase orders may be issued against the contract with no dollar limit by each respective member.
- All purchase orders must contain a reference to the MHEC contract number and/or contract name being used.
- All discounts shall remain firm throughout the term of the contract. If available, promotional prices and volume discount prices may be offered to the member at the time of their purchase. Members may inquire from vendors if such promotions are available.
- Any standard price reduction excluding special promotion pricing offered to any MHEC member must be offered to all MHEC Members.
- As products are added to manufacturer/brands, the bid discount for that brand will be applied towards all new products.
- Upon request, vendors shall furnish and distribute sufficient copies of their current catalog(s) and/or price list(s), if applicable, to all members of the MHEC.
- The vendor will ship and bill the material requested on each purchase order directly to the respective member. Substitutions will not be allowed without the consent of the ordering department.
- It is the vendors responsibility to know and follow all state laws with regard to sale of their respective products within the state the MHEC member resides. Example:
In Massachusetts, in accordance with Chapter 29, Section 29C and State Regulation 815 CMR 4.03, standard payment terms for state institutions are Net 30 Days, with interest assessable only after 45 days.
